Hello, and welcome to the Teachers College Admissions Blog!
Along with Megan, I will be writing entries about the goings-on in our office and the admission process at Teachers College! A little background: I started working at TC in 2006 as an Admission Counselor and now I’m an Assistant Director of Admission as well as a part-time student! So hopefully I’ll be able to give you some insight on what it’s like to work full-time while attending Teachers College.
Right now, our office is busy with new student recruitment and preparations for Spring 2008 applications. For most programs, our Spring deadline is November 1st, and we’re looking forward to welcoming new students to Teachers College this January! It’s coming so fast! Might have something to do with the fact that, at the end of October, it’s finally feeling like autumn!
I’m so excited about working on this blog - check back in soon for helpful hints and advice on the admission process. Applying to grad schools can be a daunting process and our hope is to help you navigate through this new endeavor as smoothly as possible.
